Eastern Iowa Arts Academy provides students with excellent leadership and instruction in all areas of the arts. Currently, EIAA has over 45 staff members who specialize in art, dance, drama, creative writing, cultural arts and music instruction.

Dedric Roundtree

BIO

My name is Dedric Roundtree. I have taught vocal music and High school Band  In Tampa Bay Florida for seven years. I have been teaching elementary vocal/general  music  in Cedar Rapids going on four years now.


The B-Ave Singers is made up of about 30 4th and 5th grade students who love to sing and perform for others. These Polk kids as they are affectionately called truly live to the three R\'s, They are always ready to Perform, Respectfull to everyone they come in contact with, and Responsible for their actions.

The students will also pick out some costume elements for their performance at the United Arts Showcase on Saturday May 14th at Harding Middle School. Grant - African Song and DanceStudents signing up for this class will learn a song and dance from Senegal, West Africa. African dance is energetic and joyful so get ready to have a good time! Students will perform the song “Fatou Yo” in African costume pieces at the United Arts Showcase on May 13th. Snacks will be provided at the end of each class period.Note: Students in the class will be performing at the United Arts Showcase on Saturday, May 13th, at Harding Middle School.
